Meet Your Groomer

Hello my name is Brooke and I am the Owner and Professional Groomer of The Groom Shack! I have been in the pet grooming Industry for 16 years. Grooming pets is what I feel I do best. I love to find the beauty in every pet that walks through the door!

How I Got Started

I am 34 years old. I have been grooming dogs since 2008. Cat grooming came a little later in 2010. My passion for this industry came when I was in high school. My senior year I took a mentoring class for a veterinarian. That is where I started my journey. I loved to watch the groomer in the clinic groom dogs. In the summer of 2008, I started washing dogs for her. One day that summer, she asked if I wanted to try to groom a dog. Of  course I was to scared to do a clients dog, so I called my Grandma and asked if I could practice on her toy poodle. I picked up the scissors and from there it was history. It was so natural for me to use the clippers and the scissors!

Me Personally

As I have mentioned before, My name is Brooke. I am  34 years old. I have four beautiful children. Two boys, and two girls. Starting with the oldest Lauralye, she is 17. Azlyn, she is 15. Theron, he is 15 . And last but not least, Haivon, he is 13. I am married to my wonderful husband Joe. He is my backbone. I don't know where I would be without him. He has helped me see my dreams and pursue them! In my spare time, I love to be outdoors! Catfishing Tournaments is something you may see me entering or being a part of. Fishing, camping, playing ball, or out riding atv's are a few of the activities I have a passion for! I love to be outside with my family enjoying the warm weather.
